Rangers Call Up Steven Fogarty from Wolf Pack
The Blueshirts have called up Hartford’s captain
Today, the New York Rangers announced that the club has called up center Steven Fogarty from the Hartford Wolf Pack. With Brendan Lemieux out for the foreseeable future with a broken hand, it looks like Fogarty could get his first taste of NHL action since Dec. 10, 2018.

Fogarty has 11 games of NHL experience, all with the Rangers. He appeared in 10 games with the Blueshirts last season, but has yet to register a point at the NHL level. Fogarty, 26, will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
The 72nd pick of the 2011 Draft is the captain of the Wolf Pack and currently shares the team lead in scoring with Vinni Lettieri (23 points in 32 GP). In 66 games with Hartford last season, Fogarty piled up 52 points on a team that finished eighth in the Atlantic Division with a record of 29-36-11. It was, by far, Fogarty’s most productive season in the AHL and the first time that he eclipsed the 20-goal mark.
