Rangers Vs. Hurricanes Preview: Bring On Carolina
The New York Rangers will welcome the Carolina Hurricanes town tonight as they battle it out at Madison Square Garden, starting at 7:00 PM.
Coming off of a very satisfying win over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, the New York Rangers will look to inch closer to .500 against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers have been playing some very dominant hockey over their last few games, and it doesn't look like they're ready to stop anytime soon. Their forecheck has been so good, that teams don't really appear to have any answers for it.
With the Hurricanes on deck next, the Rangers will look to improve their win streak to three games. Carolina will be without a few key players tonight as Jeff Skinner, Cam Ward, and Anton Khudobin will all be scratches. Ward left last week's game against the Minnesota Wild, and will miss the next 3-4 weeks. Jeff Skinner will also be out for an unspecified amount of time, after he took a bone crushing hit from Jared Cowen earlier in the week, and never returned to the game.
As for the Rangers, they will likely go with the same lineup as Thursday. That lineup can be found below.
