Rangers Vs. Penguins Preview: Rangers Will Be Put To The Test Tonight
The New York Rangers will have a big game ahead of them tonight as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at Madison Square Garden.
The New York Rangers will have a big test tonight as they go up against the Pittsburgh Penguins, who have won four straight games coming into tonight's contest. As for the Rangers, they are coming off of a disheartening loss to the Anaheim Ducks, a game which could have easily fell in their favor. But, due to some defensive mishaps and poor coverage, the Rangers wound up losing the game because of mental errors.
However, tonight would be a pretty good game for the Rangers rebound in. The Penguins have had a red hot start to the season, and have tremendous depth throughout their entire lineup. Effort hasn't been an issue for the Rangers as of late, but rather the lack of goal scoring.
J.T. Miller will be returning to the lineup tonight in favor of Brandon Mashinter, which should give the Rangers a lift in the offensive zone. Henrik Lundqvist is expected to get the start tonight, while Marc-Andre Fleury will get the start at the other end.
The full lineup for tonight's game can be found below.
