Perreault could join the Rangers as soon as Wednesday night's game against the Minnesota Wild.

According to reports, top prospect Gabe Perreault is expected to officially sign a three-year entry-level contract with the New York Rangers. The highly touted forward is also expected to join the organization this week, now that his sophomore campaign with Boston College has ended in the NCAA quarterfinals with a loss to Denver. Perreault could make his debut with the Rangers as soon as Wednesday night's game against the Minnesota Wild.

"I think he’s ready (for pro hockey) whenever he wants," former @BC_MHockey linemate Will Smith told me earlier this season.
Perreault had 16 goals and 32 assists in 37 games this past season, and 60 points in his freshman year season in 2023-2024. He's been regarded as one of the best and most anticipated prospects for the Rangers in recent memory, especially showing off his talent at the World Junior Championships with back to back gold medals and 10 points in each tournament (in 7 games both years). Perreault was drafted by the Rangers in the first round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft at 23rd overall and is currently represented by agent Pat Brisson.
