REPORT: Kravtsov to Spend Full 2020-21 Season in KHL
The Russian forward can still technically be recalled to North America.
Vitali Kravtsov will spend the entire 2020-21 season in the KHL, his team, Traktor Chelyabinsk, announced on Sunday.

The Rangers technically can still recall Kravtsov to North America at any time, so it is possible his KHL season could end prematurely if the Rangers feel inclined. However, for Traktor to announce this would insinuate there is a general handshake agreement between the two clubs to keep Kravtsov with his hometown team for the length of the season.
Kravtsov, 20, had a turbulent 2019-20 season that saw the 2019 first-round selection struggl in both the AHL and KHL for much of the season before improving his play in the final few months. Although Kravtsov’s performances reached a new low with Traktor last season, the entire team was disjointed and incapable, finishing last in its division. The organization has since re-hired Anvar Gatiyatulin, who was Traktor’s Head Coach in 2017-18 and under whom Kravtsov played well.
Traktor’s KHL regular season is slated to begin on September 3rd.
