Robin Kovacs Coming to North America?
The 19 year old Swedish prospect might be joining the Rangers organization sooner rather than later.
Reportedly Rangers' prospect Robin Kovacs, the team's third round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, might be coming to North America sometime soon. This news comes just a month after the Rangers signed Kovacs' AIK teammate Malte Stromwall to a two-year entry level contract.

The recent Pavel Buchnevich signing shed some light on how many of the Rangers' recent picks and prospects have been lost in deadline deals over the past several years. The need for homegrown talent is a pressing one and Kovacs is a player with serious offensive upside and potential that would be a great player to get in the organization sooner rather than later. Kovacs will be turning 20 in November and would almost certainly be starting his North American career with the Hartford Wolfpack and getting some seasoning there.
What should turn some heads is his 21 goals in 44 games in the SEL as a teenager this past season that followed a very solid showing of 28 points in 52 games as a rookie in 2014-15.
