New York Rangers Bantering Points for Tuesday, December 3, 2014.

The New York Rangers don't play again until Saturday. What to do...what to do? Here's a bunch of talking points.

Martin St. Louis wants to play into his 40s and isn't think about retiring. If he had it his way, he would be doing it in New York. The question is, can the Rangers afford him, and do they want to re-sign him? I hope so. Kid can play. [NY Daily News]

Ryan McDonagh needs to be better. He knows it. AV knows it. Everyone knows it. He is as big a key to the team's success this season as anyone not named Henrik Lundqvist. I think he will be just fine. [NY Post] [North Jersey] [Newsday]

AV discusses Glass, Boyle, McDonagh and more:

More Anthony Duclair World Juniors chatter. Dan Boyle still out with a flu that isn't the mumps. [NY Post]

Here...I guess. This reads like a book report written by someone who doesn't watch much hockey, but was asked to research all the Rangers' problems and smack them into one article. Stuff. [CBS NY]

The NHL All Star Game Vote has officially gone haywire. [NHL] [The Hockey News] Zemgus Girgensons has a few fans in Latvia...or something. Right. [NHL]

Anton Stralman's stint with the Rangers gave the Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman his career, and his life, back. [NHL]

Former Ranger Brad Richards has been putting up points as of late. Might have something to do with that dude Pat Kane playing on his line now. [NHL]

The Los Angeles Kings ignored the NHL's indefinite suspension of team activities for D Slava Voynov and let him skate with the team after he plead not guilty to felony domestic violence against his wife. Voynov said it was an accident. Really? Come on. It was both arrogant and classless to do so, considering the NHL had given the club relief of Voynov's cap hit. I was very surprised at the organization's choice to do that. Thoughts? The NHL fined the club $100,000. [Puck Daddy] [NY Daily News]

Old foe Martin Brodeur reminds me a lot of Brett Farvvrererreve. Doesn't know when to hang 'em up. He basically handcuffed the Devils last season with his poor play, and had been on a serious decline (we are talking one of the worst starters in the league) for several seasons. Yet, here we are. He signed with the St. Louis Blues yesterday. I guess it isn't his problem what I think of him playing elsewhere at this point. You keep playing until everyone tells you you can't. The Blues signed him, he didn't force their hand. [NHL] [NY Daily News] [NY Times] [The Hockey News] [Puck Daddy]

Robert Bortuzzo drilled Jaromir Jagr last night. Suspension coming? You be the judge [Puck Daddy] (video).

Hockey legend Jean Beliveau passed away at the age of 83 yesterday. He had his name engraved on the cup 17 times and was the embodiment of class for the Montreal Canadiens. [NHL] [NHL] [The Hockey News] [Newsday] [NY Daily News] [NY Times] [Puck Daddy] [TSN]
