The New York Rangers Alumni Classic roster
Today at 1:00 p.m. the Rangers alumni will cross sticks with the Boston Bruins alumni for the first ever New York Rangers Alumni Classic. The goal of the exhibition is to raise money for the Rangers Assist program, which is dedicated to developing youth hockey in the Tri-State.
A few former Rangers will be dressing for the Bruins, including Rick Middleton, Dan LaCouture and Mike Mottau. However, the headliner for the visiting team is without a doubt Hall of Fame defenseman Ray Bourque. Thankfully, the Rangers have plenty of headliners of their own, with Brian Leetch, Adam Graves, Mike Richter, Glenn Anderson, Brad Richards, and Team USA star winger Amanda Kessel topping the list.
Here’s what is anticipated to be the full roster for today’s New York Rangers Alumni Classic. Who are you most excited to see back on the ice?
