Zibanejad to Buchnevich for the one-timer!
The New York Rangers are getting healthier.
They aren’t at perfect health just yet, so they’ll go into the NHL’s Christmas break still a little banged up - but not as much as before (knock on wood).
Case in point: Mika Zibanejad, who’s been out since Nov. 20 with a broken leg, is back on the ice. Not skating, mind you, but on the ice.
Pavel Buchnevich, meanwhile, hasn’t played a game since Nov. 12, but he’s on the ice too - with skates on.
A non-contact jersey, but skates. And shooting one-timers, as fed to him by, well, who other than Zibanejad?

Isn’t that a sight for sore eyes? No guarantees, of course, but seeing Zibanejad and Buchnevich combine on the ice can only lead to good things.
Here’s to seeing that very play in actual games in the near future!
