Kravtsov continues to light the lamp for Traktor
Healthy again, Kravtsov scores his seventh of the season.
After missing the first three weeks of October due to an injury, Vitaly Kravtsov was back in action for Traktor Chelyabinsk and it didn’t take him long to get back on the score sheet. Watch him follow his own rebound here to pot his seventh goal of the 2020-21 campaign.

In his return to Traktor’s lineup, Kravtsov led all Traktor forwards with four shots on goal and clocked in with 18 shifts and 14:28 TOI. Per @HockeyStatMiner, Kravtsov just became the 11th player in KHL history to record 40 points before his 21st birthday. For those who are curious, the Russian winger turns 21 on December 23.
Scoring a goal in his first game back from injury is great news for the young Russian. To date, Kravtsov has seven goals and two assists in 12 games for Traktor. He is shooting at 15.8 percent, but it’s also important to note that six of his seven goals have been scored at evens. That should be music to the ears of the New York Rangers organization after the chaotic season Kravtsov spent split between the AHL and KHL in 2019-20.
With his goal today, Kravtsov leads all U22 players in the KHL in scoring despite missing seven games due to injury. He also has more even strength goals than he did in 50 games in the 2018-19 season.
