WATCH: Mats Zuccarello mic’d up at the World Cup of Hockey
He’s really talkative!
Things are looking pretty good for Team Europe. With two wins in their first two games, they look pretty much certain to move on to the semifinals in the World Cup of Hockey.
That second victory came against the Czech Republic, and Mats Zuccarello had a lot to do with the 3-2 overtime win. Not only did he score Europe’s second goal, but he assisted on the overtime winner.
Because he did so much, it’s only fair if we hear from him, right?
Fortunately, the NHL has us covered on that front: he was mic’d up throughout the game!
From him cheering for the one goal he wasn’t involved in, to that adorable cry of... something, to his teammates congratulating him on his own goal, to his yelling advice from the bench, to a fair amount of arguing with the officials, all the way to his assist on the winning goal - it’s the full Zucc experience, and it’s awesome.
