WATCH: The KHL's top 10 Pavel Buchnevich plays
Get hype. Well, even more hype.
At long last, after 37 goals, 50 assists, and 87 points over 158 games in four KHL seasons, Pavel Buchnevich is in New York. The Rangers drafted him in the third round, 75th overall, back in 2013; now, it's time to see just what they're getting.
So in order to say goodbye, the KHL put together a highlight video of Buchnevich's top 10 plays over in Russia. Great goals, assists, and solo efforts exist aplenty, which should only serve to get us even more excited for Buchnevich's inevitable NHL debut.
Because what's not to get excited about? This is a 21-year-old kid who's been playing professionally against men in one of the top hockey leagues in the world for the past four seasons. And for a Rangers team that's maybe not quite as young as it could be, or maybe doesn't have the caliber of prospects one would hope for, Buchnevich is going to be a sight to take in.
He already is.
