Report: Lias Andersson Diagnosed With Grade 2 AC Joint Injury
Per the translation work of Blueshirt Banter foreign corespondent Alex Nunn, Lias Andersson -- who was injured on a hit into the boards during the tournament — has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 AC joint injury.
Lias Andersson (#NYR) is out for two weeks w/ a Grade 2 AC joint injury according to this report. He's still in New York. https://t.co/6WYQJvYvnJ

The Rangers had kept Andersson in the United States (the tournament was held in Buffalo) to evaluate him. Andersson is currently playing for Henrik Lundqvist’s old club in Sweden, Frolunda, where he has 14 points in 22 SHL games.
It’s somewhat concerning that Andersson was permitted to play in two more games with this injury, especially since he’s going to be out two weeks post-examination, but it is what it is.
More as we get it.
