Zibanejad practices, Grabner hurt and “up in the air” for tomorrow’s game
Chris Kreider missed today’s practice with a maintenance day but Mika Zibanejad, who was a last minute scratch last night, was back on the ice for the Blueshirts. The Swedish center is not yet penciled in for tomorrow’s game against the Bruins.
AV said @MikaZibanejad "skated well" this morning. "He's miles ahead of what he was yesterday." Will know more tomorrow. #NYR

Michael Grabner left today’s practice with an apparent hip injury after a collision with Adam Clendening. When it rains, it pours.
Apparently on Clendening check. Nice work on leading goal-scorer on a team that's averaging about two a game over last nine... https://t.co/IeZtiNt8FQ

The feeling on social media from is that the Grabner isn’t serious and that the Rangers are just being cautious. Still, it’s another Ranger battling an injury to add to the list.
Alain Vigneault is hoping that Kevin Klein can get into the lineup tomorrow. The right-side defender’s back spasms have kept him on the sidelines much longer than expected. Steven Kampfer played for the Rangers last night with Klein and Dan Girardi hurting.
AV says Klein's back problem taking longer to come around than anticipated. Hopes he can skate tomorrow. #Rangers #NYR

Earlier today we learned that the Rangers will be without Jesper Fast for 2-3 weeks due to a shoulder injury.
Brendan Smith will make his debut with the Rangers tomorrow. He’ll wear number 42.
